Though Canvas is located primarily at 1111 West 7th street in downtown Little Rock, our gatherings spread across the entire Little Rock Metro. From Bible Studies to accountability groups, prayer gatherings, worship, hymn sings, and much more, we are a community that is unafraid to move outside the walls of our building.

Every week our community comes together from various walks of life to seek a common experience of a mystifying God in an age where little seems to mystify anymore. We pray, we sing, we listen to sermons, and we spend time together just like any church does; however, all of this takes a unique and particularly honest and raw form at Canvas, as we do not insulate ourselves from the hard topics that are so often avoided in churches.
This honest and modern approach to worship is coupled with a deep appreciation for ancient Christianity and the mysterious depths found in 2000 years of Christian practices and ways of worship such as Communion/The Eucharist, iconography, and
moments of contemplation.

Dinner & a Movie
In summer 2011, several of our friends experiencing homelessness reported feeling unwelcome at the outdoor movies shown in the River Market area of Little Rock. So we decided to open up Canvas Community on Wednesday nights and to invite our friends inside for a free meal and free entertainment. The response was overwhelming. What began as simply showing a movie and offering a place to belong to those who had no place eventually became a core part of our approach to addressing Little Rock’s chronic homeless problem through holistic means: relationship, authentic friendship, community, and belonging rather than merely handouts or relationally distant case management.
At Dinner & a Movie, we do not just serve food and show a movie. We use dinner and entertainment as a front door to real relationships, real care, and real love that gives people a chance at real Life.

Every Wednesday, doors open around 3 pm, the meal is served around 4:30 pm, and we wrap up around 6 pm.
Midday Prayer
Midday Prayer occurs every Wednesday at Noon at Canvas Community. It is a fifteen- to twenty-minute time of silence and prayer for our world, our leaders, our local community, and our church. It is perfect opportunity to take a deep breath and reorient your hearts and minds back to Christ in the middle of the week.
